Setting up an Airmate diffuser takes a few minutes, whether you’re installing a wall-mounted Lite Mate, Home Mate or Pro Mate, or placing a portable Duo Mate or Core Mate on a flat surface.
What you’ll need
- Your Airmate diffuser
- A bottle of Airmate scent oil (included or purchased separately)
- A power source – wall outlet, Type-C cable, or charged battery depending on your model
Steps
1. Choose a location
Pick a spot with airflow, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets. Wall-mounted models (Lite Mate, Home Mate, Pro Mate) need access to a power outlet or Type-C port; Duo Mate and Core Mate sit on any flat surface.
2. Install or place the unit
For wall-mounted diffusers, fix the unit to the wall following the included hardware. For portable models, place the unit on a stable surface.
3. Insert the scent oil bottle
Unlock the housing, insert a fresh Airmate scent oil bottle, and lock it back into place.
4. Power on
Connect to power (wall outlet or Type-C) or charge the battery on cordless models, then switch the unit on.
5. Pair Bluetooth (Home Mate, Duo Mate and Core Mate)
Enable Bluetooth on your phone, put the diffuser into pairing mode, and select it from your device’s Bluetooth list to adjust intensity and timer settings.
6. Set your intensity
Start on a lower intensity setting, especially in smaller rooms, and adjust up if needed.
